PRINCIPLE

Principle of positional detection

Inner Resolver consists of the following two component.

  1. Sensor Rod, which has Cu plating portions (non-magnetic) and non-Cu portions (ferromagnetic) by turns in the rod moving direction.
  2. Sensor Head, which has 3 groups of a primary coil and its concentric secondary coil. The axial lengths of each coil groups are equal division in absolute one pitch. One pitch is an additional length of a pair of ferromagnetic and non-magnetic.

When primary coils are excited by 3 phase A.C. , the totalized output signal from secondary coils is κ・sin(ωt-2πX/P).
"X" in this formula indicates displacement in absolute one pitch.
